Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1247 PM CDT Thu Jul 10 2025

Patchy light fog will be possible in areas that receive the most
rain this afternoon. Otherwise, fog is not a concern tonight.
Scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected each day
with the highest rain chances today and tomorrow. Storms may
become more isolated as we move beyond the start of next work
week. Minimum RH values will remain in the 50 to 65 percent
range. Outside of deviations due to convection and lake/sea
breeze boundaries, winds will generally be light and out of the
southwest.
