...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT THIS
MORNING...
...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and steep
  to very steep and hazardous wind-driven seas 7 to 10 ft through
  this morning. Winds ease to 15 to 25 kt, but seas remain steep 7
  to 9 ft through tonight. Seas lower further on Friday, but
  remain steep at 6 to 7 ft.

* WHERE...Very steep and hazardous seas are expected south of Cape
  Arago, with conditions hazardous to small craft for all other
  areas through this morning. Then, all areas will experience
  conditions hazardous to small craft.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 11 AM PDT this
  morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
